Being the most awesomest mommy that I am I forgot to mention that beginning yesterday Edie has started taking steps........she took 3 yesterday!!! She has taken 2 or 3 steps several times so far today......SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo...she will be even more mobile very shortly!

I really think that Ella watches Edie and follows closely behind her in the skill department. So Edie loves to stand at this toy basket and dig the toys out and toss them over her shoulder...this morning Ella started doing the same.......however her little legs are shorter and as she reached deep into the basket her little body flipped over the edge and she was STUCK!!! It happened two times...the first time I helped her instantly but the second time I had to get the camera first. I mean it was so very funny.....her little legs dangling and kicking......she was not a happy camper.....

I thought it would be a good idea to clean the kitchen this morning since Edie and Ella were crawling around chasing one another and belly jiggle laughing...good times! So this is how I left them....
After a few minutes of monotonous bottle washing I realized things were awfully quiet.....so I went on a baby hunt and this is what I found.......

Jon and I figured with the recent double addition to our family and the purchase of a half million dollar house......well I should rephrase.....we paid half a million dollars for a house it's not necessarily a half million dollar house...anyhoo......we thought it would be a good idea to drastically increase our life insurance.....Metlife sent a (weird) man to our house to collect the necessary data......you know blood, urine, height, weight (I made sure he noted that I recently had twins).....I mean what a job......driving around from home to home collecting bodily fluids....geez. E Squared wanted to help any way they could......

Well we are having a party in Alabama with Jons side of the family........well they are now my side too whether they claim me or not.....(please claim me)!!! I have stolen sooooooo many ideas for their 1st birthday party.....I have to give credit to www.paperheartpress.blogspot.com (still don't know how to link.....can you believe that crap?) she did the most awesome invitations for us..got them in the mail today...I will post them once they have been sent out!!! I also stole her idea for a candy buffet.......with her permission!!! I have asked a few close to me for their input on their favorite candy as a child....sadly enough ladies.....(we are getting old)......all of our favorites are listed under "vintage" candies on the web site...... www.blaircandy.com
BUT never fear all those favorites you sent me are available and WILL be on the buffet table!!!
