Well it's not that we have purposely been holding out on posting new pictures...or even taking new pictures for that matter. We have been quite busy around here with packing, working, crawling, teething, "tripod" sitting, etc......things are moving. And they are quick. Edie Claire is fairly mobile. I know, I know can you believe THAT. She is crawling on all fours now...she said so long to the army crawl several days ago -- she is on the G.O. Ella seems to be content just watching for now......though she does scoot and roll quite effectively. She also seems to be just a few steps behind Edie on the mobility front so we should be able to expect her up and about shortly. Their little personalities are so different. Edie is ALL OVER THE PLACE. She is as curious as they come... if she sees something that she wants she goes after it. Ella is just as curious but less proactive about going for it......I guess she prefers the "wait n see" approach.
For those who know both Jon and I.....the best way to describe them is this:
Edie looks EXACTLY like her daddy and is "high strung" like here daddy....
Ella looks more like her mommy and is laid back like her mommy.....
OK now that you are all done laughing...for those of you who don't know us.....I was right on with the looks description but I am actually the "high strung" one and Jon is sooooooooo laid back!!!
Now on with the good stuff......I will preface these pictures with a warning of sorts.....there are far less of Ella this go 'round simply because she is doing less snap worthy things.........
Ella Grace loves, loves to smile.......
Now this may be just motherly (and fatherly because Jon agrees) love but we love the back of Ellas head....it's so small and she has all that adorable hair......SEE
Now Edie (actually both of them) love to chew on things......goes with the teething I guess. She is not choosy......she likes fingers........
She likes toes.........(don't worry they were freshly washed)
She likes bibs........

Here's mommies attempt at helping her to sit with the 2 boppy prop......don't try this at home. It worked out better in my head than in real life.....but I assure you no babies were hurt in the process...........
First off...it's very VERY exhausting being this darn cute...
I have to check the doggy food and water levels........several times a day.
I must make sure the straps of my car seat are straight...
I have to make sure the mirror at the other end of this LONG hallway is clean...
I have to make sure there are no cobwebs under the coffee table...
And when mommy "attempts" to barricade me in the living room with sofa cushions and car seats because she is waiting to get into the new house before buying baby gates....well I of course have to find a hole that I can escape from.
I must test the strength of our moving boxes...by standing halfway up and holding onto them.
And those are just a few of my daily chores -- I hope this has helped you to realize why I am so spent at naptime.
