It was bound to happen........

What you ask? What was bound to happen! Well let me tell you where we won't be shopping again!!! Not that I planned to ever go there again....but still! BOB and I decided to take the girls out in the 93 degree heat today.......just as an aside.....they are tall enough now that their little legs hang out from under the stroller visor (is that what it's called) so I have to put sun screen on their tootsies. So anyway.....it was 93 degrees but we have been in the house for DAYS! We just couldn't be a prisoner to the heat any longer. We also needed to pick up some paint samples.....since we are having our house painted next week and have yet to officially nail down colors. As we were strolling along I decided to duck into this little furniture store that we passed.......I need to find a chair that I like AND can afford. As soon as we walked in I knew right away that I wasn't going to find anything but just in case decided to browse the perimeter of the store anyway......just in case! Well as you already know BOB is a little wide.......I mean cut him some slack he's gotta schlep around 2 (not so small anymore) babies, toddlers...whatever...in the 93 degree heat!!! So I had to move a couple of stools, chairs, etc... out of the way to get through a couple areas. Well as I was leaving.....keeping in mind we were the only ones in the store.... the owner/jerk/punk/ugly guy said......"you stroller too big....no come back".........WHA? Are you friggin kidding me? I didn't say that but I did give him stink eye so bad I am sure he smelled it. And just for the record........that thing there on your head...the wrap....sir....looks STUPID! Stupid man!
Now on with the cuteness.........here is Ella Grace.......so disappointed that she can't break through the cabinet locks daddy installed....

I just discovered google analytics........it's awesome!!! I can look at the stats of my blog...it tells me how many times each day it is looked at....how they found my blog.......even where they are visiting from. We have had almost 400 hits just in the last 2 weeks! E Squared is already popular!!! We have had visitors from Singapore, Canada, Europe....and a few other places that I can't pull from my hat at the moment. It is so cool......
Funny thing......my last post only got me 10 comments!!! Seriously people.....give me a shout out!!! It's fun to get comments..........

Stats....13 months....C!R!A!Z!Y!!!!!!!!!

Edie and Ella had their 1 year check up with Dr. B yesterday. Good times were had by.....well........NONE! They each got 3 shots.......and they were PISSED!!! They were both happy to show off all their skills......walking, mad crawling, pulling up, climbing, SCREAMING, etc...the doctor was pleased with everything that he saw. He didn't even scold me for still having them on formula and bottles at night.....during the night. They both seem to hate regular milk...personally I think that is a little weird......even though I hate milk. But if I had to choose milk over formula.......have you ever smelled that stuff???
Jon and I were so looking forward to the big switch from formula......it sets us back around 600 bucks a month.....but E Squared had other plans........PSYCH (do we still say that?)!!!
So on with the numbers........first off........remember these little eensy weensy babies???
Yeah well.......neither do I really......they are gigantic!!!
Ella Grace: 19 pounds 10 ounces and 27 3/4 inches long
Edie Claire: 22 pounds 9 ounces and 29 3/4 inches long

We hope you guys had a fabulous Easter......we did! It was a low key day...Jon and his (our) friend Ben watched the Masters (is that capitalized?). Edie napped......ALOT!!! Ella danced and hummed and screamed........and I cooked. I love to cook! We played outside. Took a wagon ride...I need pictures of this don't I. It's friggin adorable! We blew bubbles.....just plain fun!!!

Madeline Alice Spohr

Those of you that are not bloggers may have a difficult time understanding the connections that are formed between perfect strangers.....on the internet no less. I know personally I am drawn to blogs that have something in common with me.....ie... another MOM (mom of multiples), another infertile, etc... however some blogs are appealing for other reasons. Like Maddies blog. Her mommy Heather has done a fabulous job documenting her sweet little angels life. She is a fabulous writer and photographer........and for that I am sure she will be forever grateful. Sweet little Maddie passed away yesterday. Though I have never met the family and it's probably safe to say I never will, I have been sick to my stomach all day today and was not able to sleep at all last night. I cannot even begin to imagine how her parents are feeling. Maddie was born prematurely and has struggled with lung issues her entire 17 months...she seemed to be progressing nicely and so her death was unexpected. I am so sad for her, Heather and Mike and the entire family. I will miss all of the fabulous pictures and stories about Maddie. It's not fair.
Rest peacefully sweet Maddie...the world is a brighter place having had you in it!
