HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Awwwwww -- sweet little Ella. Sleeping so soundly in her swing. Notice dustbuster under said swing. This is her new naptime lullaby. I have noticed that they fall asleep when I vacuum while they are in their swing -- so since we have a long haired German Shepard and 2 cats our need for frequent vacuuming is high. Well after my third time today I got the wise idea to try out the dustbuster -- and sure enough she fell asleep right before the battery ran dry. Thank goodness for chargers.
We got a portable air conditioner today. We broke down since our "heat waves" started earlier than usual this year. We figured we may be in for a damn long summer without some sort of cooling -- our fans just don't quite cut it. Jon was just saying that with the over pricing of houses in this area you would think they could throw in a bit of air!!! So we have 1 cool room in our house now -- during the day it will be like heaven on earth. The craziness of our temperature extremes here is bizarre -- high 90s by day and mid 50s by night. I hate being hot in my own house so this ac on wheels has me super excited. Bye bye $100 utility bills!

I shouldn't say this out loud.............
I waited an entire week before mentioning anything. I am still a bit nervous about saying something but............. we have been sleeping. Waking only once maybe twice each night. Last weekend I separated them -- still in my bed but not right next to one another. Since then they are sleeping more soundly -- they had been waking each other up before. They left that out of the owners manual and being the novice that I am took a while to put 2 and 2 together... it's funny how you get all the advice in the world when you don't need any BUT when you could actually use some --- WHERE THE HELL IS IT?????????????? Just kidding. People have told me I shouldn't sleep with them in my bed -- but cosleeping is a practice that I and Jon have both embraced. That is not the problem. Many people cosleep. The problem is we need a bigger bed because we are running out of room in this one. We plan to buy a house this year and when we do we will upgrade to a king sized bed...... or maybe a CA king!!!!!!!!
So now on to the cutie patooties......... how do you spell that word anyway?
Here they are together.... we have been playing on the floor alot more lately-- they should be rolling soon so they need practice..........
I washed all the 3-6 month clothes that I had stored for them (sad sad sad). I found this bathing suit and tried it on Ella -- sort of against her will...............

First GIRLS TRIP !!!!
E and E had their first "girls trip" this week. They had a great time but really missed their routine. They let us know with a tad bit of grumpiness but all in all it was great times. My best friend Yvonne came to visit from Louisiana. She is Ellas godmother. Every year (before this one) she and I and our other friend Letha try to go someplace for a few days to just hang out since they both live in LA and I am way over here on the west coast. Last year we went to Florida. One year we were in Las Vegas -- our friend Kristen came along on that trip. Well, needless to say this year would be a bit challenging for me to get away and since Yvonne --- LOVES LOVES LOVES to come to visit this area -- we had a modified "girls trip". We spent a night in Bodega Bay at a beautiful lodge and spa.......... AWESOME!!!! We took the sweeties with us because I could not have been able to be away from them for an entire night but we did manage to get away Wednesday -- just the 2 of us for some yummy wine tasting. E and E stayed with daddy -- ALL DAY !!! They gave him a run for his money I hear -- but I sure had a great time.
Here is a picture of Ella with her nanny ...........(funny story about this below)
In LA we call godparents different names than much of the rest of the nation. The godmother is called nanny and the godfather is called parrain. Well as we were winetasting Yvonne would tell people who asked where she was from (heavy accent) about her being here to meet my new twins and that she was nanny of one of them. MANY people thought that she was my hired help nanny and commented on how well I treated her. Like she was my babysitter type nanny...... too funny. Even funnier after winery #2!!!!!!!!!
I don't usually dress them alike BUT sometimes I can't help myself. Since it's 4th of July week they HAD to wear these onesies this week........... so I had no choice. Oh my gosh --- baby blue jeans!!!!!!!!!!!
This is an awful shot of me -- it's early morning and we just got out of the bath at the spa we stayed at. I think it's cute of Edie wrapped in a big robe.........
This was the view of the Pacific Ocean from our room........... serenity now!!!!!!!
We had a picnic before Bodega at one of our favorite wineries. Ledson in Sonoma valley. Sorry I don't know how to link on here but google that winery and check it out. They have the best wine. Edie and Ella had a nice time lying on the lawn under the huge oak trees --- here they are. Edie then Ella............

For Sale
Two babies. Very adorable. Both love to smile and one even laughs hysterically at times. They do like to eat alot and their food is quite expensive but I am willingy to shave a little off the price for the right customer. They do poop alot and the diapers are expensive as well.
Included in the (negotiable) sale price are:
Start up kit -- which includes a diaper bag, diapers for 1 week, formula for 1 week and clothes
Insurance cards
Car seats and stroller
Swings and bouncy seats
Bumbo seats
etc, etc.............
Also included are 2 very adorable, high maintenance tiny humans who for the life of me WILL NOT SLEEP. The catch is that I would like them back from 8am to 8pm (along with said equipment)..... So how does that sound you get 2 adorable tiny humans to cuddle with as you lie awake all night long.......... for the low low price of -- negotiable!!!!!!!!
(disclaimer: CPS I do not intend to really sell my children -- lighten up already)

So things are much better here. I am feeling so much better -- mastitis is gone. Or at least I don't feel it there anymore. I am still on the antibiotics for another week. Edie and Ella are cuter than ever BUT still nowhere close to sleeping an acceptable amount at night. The past 2 nights we were up every 2 hours. Now they don't stay up for very long when they wake up but we are still getting up and fully awake. NO FUN !!! They seem to be taking fewer and shorter naps these days though so maybe, just maybe they will start to make up for it at night. The bedtime routine is working very well -- they seem to know when it's time for a bath and bottle as they both seem to get really tired and cranky starting around 5:30 - 6:00 each evening. We are almost always in bed with them asleep between 6:30-7:00.... I wish we could push it back a little to maybe 8:00 but they are so tired and cranky there is no way we could....
Now for some cute pictures --- I haven't taken as many good ones these past few days -- they are more awake and active so require much more of my time which leaves less time for goofing off. The good news is that Jon is able to still keep up his golf very frequently -- that's what's important!!!! (sarcasm dripping from that last sentence)
I am not sure why 2 of these pictures are turned to the side -- I did not take them that way but once they are uploaded I don't know how to rotate them -- sorry for any neck strain this may cause............ ENJOY!!!
Ella Grace snoozing on her tummy (i was right there)
Edie has almost figured out how to get her fingers in her mouth. This is a source of great frustration for her.....she tries and tries and gets so aggravated when she can't get it. So close.
