Ella in this old bean bag chair that I put them in today.......the chair lives in the garage but we needed it for some A!W!E!S!O!M!E! professional pictures we had taken today........the same photographer that did our newborn shots came over for some first Christmas pictures and we did some fun ones too.......I will share just like I did last time once I get the link......about a week she says.

Daredevil Edie about 0.4 seconds before mommy had to rescue her for the 1,254th time TODAY from the hearth ledge......she loves to climb up but gets stuck........loads of fun!!!

Making up for lost time........

Since I went over a week without giving you guys any new pictures I thought I would go all out and just inundate you.........
We have a park 0.2 miles from our house...actually when we were walking the other morning I counted 3 parks within a 3 mile radius.......we moved to a great new area...very family friendly! Our old neighborhood was great too...but we couldn't find a house for sale there in our price range...we already maxed out at half a million for this one......that was the VERY high end of what we wanted to spend but we did get a great house...the park is awesome too......E Squared L!O!V!E! to swing....we have gone a few times before but today I remembered the camera........well actually today the camera finally had a new card and batteries........

Since our pediatrician told me last week to get strict about the sleeping......well, all that I can say is......IT WORKED!!! They have been sleeping ALL NIGHT!!! They each wake once and sometimes Edie doesn't even wake up at all........she was still asleep when Jon came home from work at 8am this morning.....unreal!!! They are also napping 1-2 hours at a time now that I am putting them upstairs in their beds instead of the swings..........So, what's a mommy to do with all of her newfound spare time you ask........well you would think that I would be unpacking the CRAP in the garage that I keep complaining about.......well you would be wrong......

I am putting my old maternity tank tops on the dog.........GOOD TIMES!!!

Hearts for Hunter..........

Edies godmother and my mentor/mother figure/friend/many other roles/Theresa has a sweet nephew who was severely wounded in Iraq May 9, 2008...he has been hospitalized since. He is blind and depressed......rightfully so and sadly enough. Hunter will turn 21 (in the hospital) Thursday November 13th...it would be awesome if EVERYONE who reads this post could head over to the site his buddy set up and leave a message for him. It would really be nice for him to have a ton of messages read to him....AND I know my blogging buddies are so so nice and maybe just maybe you could link his page on your blog and have your friends leave him a message.......let's fight for Hunter since he fought so hard for us.........Thank you everyone it means alot.

Ok...so I am a liar.........

I know that I pinky swore in the last post that I would have pictures this time BUT I do not and the reason is.....I have some information to share about the chunkiness of two little girls that I thought you would be interested in and my memory card is full on my camera so I can't take anymore pictures until I get a new card...YES I realize that I could get the pictures off the camera but I don't want to...I have them on a disc and I want the card as well...just in case. Those are some precious images that I don't want to lose. I will get a new card soon and take double the pictures......
I took E Squared for flu shots today and Edie has a funky spot on her leg the we are treating with antibiotics...it will be fine but since Jon and I are both around MRSA often we are covering it for that...it may very well not be but just in case.......
They did well for the shots...cried for maybe a second each. Of course it was only 1 shot unlike the usual 4 they have been getting with their vaccines...the pediatrician did tell me I need to get strict with the sleeping since "most" babies their age are sleeping through most of the night...they wake up every 2 hours or so...it's misery. I have them in separate rooms tonight with their sound machine upstairs right now and I don't hear any crying......I won't be too strict with the crying tonight though in case they are reacting to their shots.....oh who am I kidding I don't think I will be able to be too strict EVER...it's painful for me to hear them sob...but I WILL TRY!!! And that's all I can do...

Edie is just under 20 pounds
Ella is just under 18 pounds
I put them still in their carseats on the big kid scale as well to see just how heavy a load we lug around when we carry them both....Edie and her seat 28 pounds and Ella in her seat 26 pounds......H!E!A!V!Y!

Moving.......SUCKS!!!!!!!!

Why no pictures yet you ask........well quit asking 'cause I'm not in the mood. Just kidding but seriously........man things are STILL upside down here. Before babies I would have been unpacked by now...with babies...well let's just say I have a long road of unpacking.
It seems that the "obstacle" lords are shining down on us too......let's see here....

1.) We haven't gotten a good rain in about 2 years.....UNTIL this weekend. Our weekend to move! It's still pouring out there. Yeah I know we needed the rain but seriously. This weekend?
2.) One of our cats is missing. Tabasco. Jon let him out Saturday night because he was howling SO loudly...well he has yet to come home. He tends to be more independant than our other cat but I worry that since he doesn't know the new area he may be lost. And the rain. Well...my fingers are crossed and we each head out to scour the neighborhood periodically.
3.) Rubi is a little stressed with the move. She squirted about a gallon of smelly doggy diarrhea all over the carpet at around 3am this morning...so I had to scoop poop and scrub the carpet for about an hour in the middle of the stupid night on top of these munchkins STILL not sleeping worth a crap. Poor Jon after working 12 hours last night had to run to Home Depot this morning to rent a carpet steam cleaner...I did get a picture of that! It worked and the big brown poopy stains are a thing of the past......carpet sucks! Ella pooped on it Saturday so that stain was steamed as well.
4.) Our telephone doesn't work...they are on their way right now to check it out. So if I didn't know how to steal wireless...well I would be more pissed about that than I am.
5.) That's it!!!
Wow...I don't mean to complain but this has not been a fun weekend. If I could get some sleep it would be a little better. I also don't do well when things are in disarray...if I could unpack a little quicker that would be awesome.
Next post...pictures and no complaining........PINKY SWEAR!!!

New town, new house, new tooth......well new half a tooth

No pictures this time.....soon though!!!

So we are nearly all moved over to our new house...we still have about 2 small loads left in the old garage...mostly CRAP... even though I got rid of 2 truckloads.....no kidding.....we still have tons of CRAP. We spent our first night here last night and Ella got so excited she popped half of one of her bottom teeth through...she was determined to do at least one thing before Edie. Which speaking of...is loving all the crawling room she has now.......and the carpet....such great traction. She is fast and determined!!! Our new house is twice the size of our old one...it's AWESOME. I will post pictures once we get all moved in.

I learned a new word this week. Well actually it's an old word but I learned a new meaning of it...Now! Did any of you know that the word husband in Swahili actually means LAZY????
